Thaali Pudhusu

Thaali Pudhusu is a 1997 Indian Tamil film, directed by K. R., starring Ramki, Suresh and Kushboo Sundar in lead roles. The film, had musical score by Vidyasagar and Raj, and was released onApril 1997. The film is a remake of Telugu film Aame.

In the past, Seetha was from a middleclass family. Seethas brotherinlaw Thalaivasal Vijay was a jobless soninlaw and lived with them. Balu Suresh was a bank manager and falls in love with Seetha. Mani Manivannan, Balus father, a miser, looked for a rich daughterinlaw. Finally, Balu got married with Seetha and the same day, Balu died in a crossfire. So Mani refused to keep Seetha in his house. Later, without money, Mani begged Seetha to come with him and she took her late husband job. Seethas brotherinlaw took his wifes thaali and tied the thaali to Seetha. She immediately removed the thaali.Arun decides to marry her despite her past. The court cancels the marriage between Seetha and her brotherinlaw. Seethas sister kills her husband to save Seethas marriage. At the end, Arun and Seetha get married. ........
